Flexible Apartment Building Entry System

The OmniCom 64 is a Building Telephone Entry System. It is made up of one or more Entry Access Panels, which install at the building entrances, and one Master Unit (MPU). This multi-unit entry system provides visitors with easy call initiation at the Entry Access Panel. The Panel offers a metal telephone keypad for guests to punch in the number of the apartment unit they wish to visit. They will hit one single key for apartments numbered from 1 to 9 and only two keys for the rest. Whereas most other door intercom systems (auto-dial systems) will constrain visitors to dial in 4-digit codes, making the availability of separate directory boxes absolutely necessary and the call initiation process lengthier and bothersome as well.

This hard-wired building telephone intercom system optionally gives every resident the ability to forward calls from visitors arriving at lobby to any remote off-premise phone number. Therefore residents may attend to theirs guests while away from home (work, beach, out-of-town, abroad!). This is a great commodity for residents, especially when they are expecting someone home but need to momentarily move away. From their phone handset, they may program the telephone intercom system to forward the lobby calls to their cell phone on by using their own phone line (no charges and billing issues). They may also remotely open the entry door from the remote phone to give access to the guest toward their own apartment home.

This apartment building telephone entry system optionally offers great additional security services to residents who will be away from home for quite a while. It provides one alarm detector for the door entry of each unit in the dwelling. In case of a break-in, the door entry system will dial out to a pre-programmed surveillance phone number (the concierge's phone number i.e.) for that particular dwelling. Residents also have the option of enabling the alarm while at home (i.e. at night) and get any break-in alert in the form of an unrelenting ring tone from all of the phones in that particular condo unit.
