This
apartment
building
telephone
entry
system
is
a
hardwired
system
which
delivers
a
powerful
set
of
communication
features
to
each
apartment
unit
of
the
condominium
dwelling.
It
can
be
a
simple
telephone
entry
access
system
or
optionally
a
full
entry
access
control
and
in-home
intercom
solution.
The
system
runs
on
the
phone
wirelines.
The
intercom
boxes
can
be
installed
either
at
the
lobby
utility
room
or
individually
inside
each
apartment
unit.
Wirelines
attach
directly
to
the
system
without
the
use
of
amphenol
connectors,
which
makes
the
entry
system
installable
by
any
electrician.
No
special
telephone
equipment
and
expertise
required.
We
provide
an
optional
install/maintenance
kit
that
puts
the
installation
to
the
level
of
anyone
who
can
handle
a
screwdriver.
The
Entry
Access
Panel
(EAP-23)
of
this
apartment
building
entry
intercom
system
is
a
vandal-proof
equipment
which
features
a
16
gauge
stainless
steel
faceplate,
a
heavy-duty
metal
telephone
keypad,
tamper-resistant
screws
and
overall
small
size.
The
system
can
use
an
existing
doorstrike
circuit
or
energize
the
electric
doorstrike
by
itself,
significantly
simplifying
the
wiring
for
the
entrance
doorstrike.
We
offer
three
different
models
for
Entry
Access
Panel:
a
vandal-proof
model
for
7
to
63
units
(EAP-23)
available
in
flush-mount
and
surface-mount,
and
two
lighter
models
for
smaller
buildings
(EAP-6
and
EAP-4)
both
available
only
in
brushed
stainless
steel
and
flush-mount
style.

This
multi-unit
telephone
entry
intercom
system
is
built
on
modular
components
for
reliable
operation
and
easy
maintenance.
The
whole
system
will
never
be
down.
The
possible
failure
of
the
Entry
Access
Panel
will
not
preclude
phone
to
phone
intercom
and
call
transfer
within
the
condo
units,
whenever
those
options
are
in
use.
Similarly,
an
intercom
problem
in
one
unit
leaves
all
other
units
unaffected,
including
the
Entry
Access
Panel.
Even
if
the
phone
service
in
any
unit
(no
dial
tone)
is
discontinued
or
impaired
by
the
public
telephone
network,
the
door
entry
access
control
service
from
the
phone
handsets
and
phone
to
phone
intercom
will
fully
continue
to
work
in
that
condo
unit!
In
case
of
a
power
failure
in
the
building
(or
the
area),
residents
will
still
be
able
to
use
their
phone
line,
though
the
access
control
service
will
obviously
be
interrupted.
All
this
requires
no
special
addition
to
the
basic
equipment.
Each
condo
unit
holds
full
control
of
its
own
portion
of
the
system.
All
of
the
above
makes
this
apartment
building
telephone
entry
intercom
system
easy
to
maintain,
and
keeps
maintenance
costs
strictly
minimal.
